When condensation isn't the whole story

"It’s just condensation" is the most common — and most contested — line in disrepair. It is also frequently incomplete.

Penetrating damp, rising damp, natural humidity and construction moisture all present in overlapping ways, and each has a different remedy and potentially a different party responsible.

Evidence-led analysis means considering the alternatives rather than assuming the convenient one.

A report that rules causes out is more persuasive than one that only rules a cause in.
